Spotters season 2026

My 2026 military aircraft spotting season has already been an incredible journey across several European airbases. The year started with unforgettable visits to places like Nörvenich Air Base, Eindhoven Air Base, and Gilze-Rijen Air Base, each offering its own unique atmosphere and impressive aircraft movements.

From the powerful sound of fighter jets taking off at Nörvenich to the constant transport and helicopter activity at Eindhoven and Gilze-Rijen, every trip has delivered memorable moments and great opportunities for photography. Early mornings beside the runway, changing weather conditions, and the excitement of unexpected visitors are all part of what makes this hobby so special.

The 2026 season has already brought a wide variety of aircraft in front of my lens, from fast jets and military transports to helicopters and international visitors. Every airbase tells a different story, and every visit adds new experiences, new photos, and new memories.

And the season is far from over. Many more airbases, exercises, and spotting trips are already planned for the coming months. More destinations, more aircraft, and more unforgettable aviation moments will follow in the near future. With every new trip, the passion for military aviation only continues to grow, making 2026 another fantastic year for aircraft spotting.
