Junkers Ju 88A-5, WNr. 1379, G2+BH
History
The Junkers Ju 88A-5 with Werknummer (WNr.) 1379 is a significant World War II aircraft currently on display at the Technik Museum Sinsheim in Germany. This particular aircraft was originally constructed as a Ju 88A-4 and assigned the military code 4V+UH. It was later re-coded to G2+BH and transferred to 1. (F) 124, a reconnaissance squadron. After the war, the aircraft was salvaged from a Swedish lake in 1986 and subsequently restored for display at the Technik Museum Sinsheim.
